Rubix is the number one company (by market share) in Europe across the maintenance, repair, and overhaul sector. With 750 locations across 22 countries, Rubix serves over 220,000 customers and distributes over 2 million products, achieving sales of €3bn in 2022.

In 2017, Brammer and the IPH Group were acquired by US investment fund Advent International. Rubix was then created June 2018, following the name change of the IPH-Brammer Group.

The challenge

Rubix's ambitious growth plans have created a large-scale hiring programme across a variety of group functions. These roles, spanning from cyber security to digital marketing all share the common thread of transformation. As a fast-paced, growing, P.E backed organisation, they required a quick turn around on deliverables to keep their environment efficient.

1. Discovery

Our discovery is slightly different for each vertical but stems from market knowledge: mapping out key competitors and related businesses and providing a solution to their hiring needs by presenting the most relevant profiles from these.

We have consultants that have recruited for senior positions at Rubix across Europe for several years, from which we have developed a substantial network. There are many ways we find professionals whether it is from LinkedIn, headhunting, referrals from our network or recommendations from the 90+ professionals that we have placed.

2. Selection

Montash's Client Services team focusses on pulling out the relevant candidates from related businesses after the mapping is done, meaning we are ready to submit suitable profiles in a timely manner, only submitting a very strong, small pool of candidates for interview.

One key area of our selection process is really taking the time to explain our client's organisation and evaluating if the candidate has seen and overcome some of the challenges they will face and what value they can bring to the company: their salary expectations, experience, personality traits, industry/consulting background.

Results
